A photo of Stapleton survives from 1987, but it's him in a suit signing for Ajax after he'd already left Arsenal, not in a kit at all, so it isn't used here.
A powerful, prolific centre-forward who came through the youth system, Stapleton scored in the 1979 FA Cup Final win over Manchester United and was the club's leading scorer for several seasons before moving to Manchester United himself in 1981.
