A powerful centre-forward who came through the youth system, Radford was Arsenal's leading forward through the Double-winning campaign and remains one of the club's highest-ever goalscorers across a twelve-year first-team career. It was his short, cut-back pass in extra time of the 1971 FA Cup Final that Charlie George struck first-time for the goal that sealed the Double.
